AMORC leader charges Nigerians on peace, commitment
Grand Regional Administrator of Rosicrucian Order (AMORC), Dr Kenneth Idiodi, has advised Nigerians to have peace in themselves in order to achieve a peaceful and prosperous nation. Idiodi stated this yesterday in Calabar while addressing newsmen over the forthcoming Regional Convention of the organisation slated for Calabar. “If you have a leader who is committed and responsible, such a leader would in turn attract a responsible followership that would as well contribute immensely to the overall development of the nation.
“Th e only way we can achieve lasting peace in Nigeria is for people to be at peace with themselves; without peace, there will not be any meaningful progress,” he said. He said there was nothing wrong with the country, adding that Nigerians only needed attitudinal re-orientation by putting a round peg in a round hole. According to him, the upcoming one of AMORC was meant to teach, foster, and perpetuate the traditional principles and laws of ancient Rosicrucian as they may be applied to present-day conditions and needs.
“It is also to enhance happiness, and welfare of humanity through the understanding of Rosicrucian principles as well as fostering spirit of brotherhood and understanding, among others.” He advised Nigerians to love one another, pointing out that all religious books emphasised the importance of love and peace in the life of every being.
