Centre flays police deployment

The Centre for Peace and Environmental Justice (CEPEJ) has call for a level playing ground for all stakeholders.

It called on security agencies deployed for the election to be impartial in the interest of the nation.

The national coordinator of CEPEJ, Comrade Sheriff Mulade, at a news conference yesterday in Abuja, faulted the massive deployment of 30,000 policemen for the election.

According to him, the Ekiti State election was important as it signified the shape of things to come for the 2019 general elections hence the need for fairness.
